The FB.16 is a signalling unit which warns if the input of one of the alarm contacts is activated OR one or more phases fail OR the battery is faulty.
Two separate alarm outputs: Connection possibility for telephone selector or connection possibility for an audio or visual signal (siren, flashing lights) in one of four modes:
- continuously on
- 1 minute on – 1 minute off
- 2 minutes on – 6 minutes off
- 1 minute on – 7 minutes off
Automatic battery test: every day the signalling unit automatically tests the battery. The siren load is internally simulated by a resistance.

It is possible to set a self-reinstating or non-self-reinstating alarm, which means the alarm outputs are deactivated once the alarm situation is cancelled.
Potentiometer to set a switch delay of 2 to 60 seconds.
Reset button to temporarily (±15 minutes) deactivate an alarm.
